EYFS-inspired setting

Little discoveries in every session.

Everything we do is inspired by the seven areas of learning and development in the Early Years Foundation Stage, the same framework used by nurseries and childminders across England. It simply means that while your child plays, they are also learning: every song, stack of blocks and splash of paint is building skills for life. Activities reflect children’s ages, interests and stages of development.

  • A mum clapping and singing with her toddler on a play mat, with other families playing nearby
    Songs, rhymes and giggles together
  • A toddler stacking pastel wooden blocks with a parent’s hands gently helping
    Little hands, big concentration
  • A dad reading a picture book to a baby and a toddler on a rug
    Story time on the rug
  • Communication and language

    Communication and language

Babies and toddlers soak up words long before they can say them. Through songs, rhymes, stories and plenty of chat, little ones learn to listen, take turns and find their voice.

  • Personal, social and emotional development

    Personal, social and emotional development

Playing alongside other children is big work for little people. Our sessions offer gentle chances to share, wait, join in and grow in confidence, always with a familiar grown-up close by.

  • Physical development

    Physical development

From a baby’s first reach to a toddler’s determined climbing, bodies learn through doing. Stacking, crawling, posting and carrying all build strength, balance and coordination.

  • Literacy

    Literacy

A love of books starts long before reading. Picture books, stories and the simple joy of turning pages plant the earliest seeds of literacy.

  • Mathematics

    Mathematics

Sorting, counting, filling, emptying and noticing shapes and sizes: early maths happens naturally through play, no worksheets in sight.

  • Understanding the world

    Understanding the world

Little ones are born curious. Exploring textures, sounds, nature treasures and everyday wonders helps them make sense of the world around them.

  • Expressive arts and design

Making marks, music and a little creative mess. Paint, playdough, instruments and imagination give children their first ways to express themselves.

Every child develops at their own rate. There’s no pressure here, just time, space and beautiful things to play with, together.
